My wife just had a baby and i feel like im never home to spend time with her?

i work a lot. i also get called in at strange hours. i most of the time work 12 hour shifts but being a supervisor not always so. sometimes i don't get home until 2AM. i have been at the same job for 12 years but i am really thinking abut quiting. should i quit right away and use money from savings me and my wife have had for years but never used? i really want to just spend more time with my family but with my job the way it is time is limited. i have also thought about looking for another job and not leaving my current job until i find a new one. we had the same problem with our first 2 kids. one of them is now 20 and the other one is now 4. as much as i am thinking about quiting i also want to stay where i'm at. what do you think i should do?
