Really, don't you find the fairy tales and myths of the Bible pretty fragile in the face of ever more science?

One of the most disillusioning things I've faced growing up is discovering how stupid people are, for the most part. How people can believe something in the face of overwhelming support to the contrary, and how those people will never change their beliefs.
