I understand exactly what you mean. But a doctor wouldn't / couldn't detain him. first of all a doc is likely too busy and too worried about his/her malpractice insurance to get involved. Secondly, the guy could only be detained if he is physically harming himself or another. Then the courts have to decide after 3 days. If he gave ME the money, I don't think I could take it or keep it. I would wonder if he was OK and I would feel guilty taking advantage in case he didn't know what he was doing.

Coughing up blood..what could this mean?

I've had a cough come and go the past couple months. Two days ago I had my first nosebleed I have ever had (I'm 19 years old). My Black Neon Tetra is acting like a bully & my Guppy is bothering another fish, is this normal?

I'm a new fish owner, only a few weeks now. I'm learning, but in the process, I've lost some fish. There used to be 2 Black Neon Tetras, but one died. There used to be 3 male Fancy Guppies, but 2 were eaten (by a little catfish that the store sales woman lied about, when she ured me it wouldn't harm anything...needless to say, that catfish is now gone, I gave it away). So the tetra & guppy are both the only one their kind (I actually only have 1 of each kind of fish in the tank, right now). The tetra has chosen 3 fish to "harr". He darts at them & they flee. My boyfriend said maybe he's playing. I looked at him once & he darted toward my face. So is he being "playful" or being a bully? And the guppy used to hang around the other guppies, until they "disappeared". Now he follows my platy EVERYWHERE. He circles him, gets in his face, won't leave him alone. Then the sister and her Friend began to tell me that because I feel that way that means that I am insecure. They began to say insulting things like, "Your man is going to "sleep" with someone else if you continue to feel that way." By then I am defending myself against a room full of drunken people who continued to give their opinion of me and my "insecurity." My finance was quiet the whole time. The conversation eventually got more heated so I said that if they were going to continue to talk to me in the manner in which they were talking that I was going to leave. I turned to my fiance and told him that it was time to go. He acted non chalant and asked why. I said because everyone was getting heated over something so silly and I was no longer comfortable. He and I began to walk out of the house when I noticed he was upset with me. So I asked him why was he upset with me. He kept walking and told me to "**** off." I walked up behind him in shock repeatedly asking why he was mad at me. Out of no where he turned around and push me to the ground (twice). His brother pulled him away from me and after I calmed down I left him there and took my two/our children home. To this day he swears he was highly intoxicated and cannot give me any reason why he turned on me the way he did. I feel betrayed and humiliated and I just cannot get over this even after two months. We are engaged and have been going to church since then. He is treating me better, but I cannot seem to forget or forgive him about that situation. It was Betrayal. I feel like ending our relationship over it, but I feel like I should have done this when it happen. What would you do. Can people change? Or will he turn on me again?

To start off, I already know my situation is complicated before anyone responds, but ultimately I am happy and just want the drama to end. Now, this has obviously caused much drama not only in our home where our relationship is in jeapordy because her father of course has to question it, but also with the other kids who now think that I have abused their little brother and want nothing to do with us. Not only that, but now she has filed official paperwork with the court regarding this to take away the fathers visitation because of it. To make it worse, my goal has been to open a daycare for years and now with people getting wind of the situation, I have heard that many are aware of the situation and I am sure that it will affect peoples judgement of me now and whether or not I would be capable of doing this job without inflicting harm on their kids. Water heater problem?

I have two water heaters. The main water heater is solar powered and the backup is on propane. When there is company I need the backup but when it's myself I just need the main, so I disconnect the propane. Should I also close the valve that runs hot water from the main to backup (this hot water pipe feeds the propane heater and the house)? Or does the propane heater act as a storage device for hot water?

Did Catholic pastor touch me inappropriately, and should I blackmail?

Back when I was in grade school our family had a good relationship with our Church's pastor. I will used the made up name "Father Benjamin" to protect both the pastor and any other children/adults with similar allegations. This is my second year running track and yes it is important to lace and unlace as you take them off and put them back on. When she slips them on and off they are loose enough to get her entire foot out. and when they are loose they are uncomfortable to run in. I am going to a university and they are forcing me to get a meal plan. Only it is WAYYYY over priced, averaging to over $9 a meal. Being posted on behalf of a friend..I have a lovely 12" G4 Titanium laptop. Bought it second hand a couple of years back from my digital printer in London. I trust him and he gave me a good price. So far so bloody wonderful. Except for the fact that ALL applications would quit "unexpectedly" for no good reason I could ascertain. You put up with it. What else could I do? At the GENIUS BAR at the MAC shop in London they suggested I reinstall the system and all my software. Problem was all my software were basically gifts from the universe and the installation software, if I ever had it, was in London...far away from where I am now. So I go to another MAC shop and the guy says he can do a re- installation of the system for �15. FAB! But now none of my apps will work, he didn't put my photos back on and I can't even sign in to my broadband! HELP! IS there a MAC wizard out there? I cannot live with out my own computer! My partner has a PC laptop and anyone who is a MAC person knows what 2do

Does the proactiv refining mask work?

I recently bought the proactiv system and was not impressed by the results. It did not clear my skin as I had hoped, and I do not intend on purchasing it again. However, I have seen some improvement from using the refining mask, and I was just wondering if it has worked for you. If so, how do you use it? The bottle says to leave it on for 10 mins and then wash it off, but the commercial says to use it for spot treatment overnight. When watching tv thru my sky hi-def box I am getting a lot of pixallating (as tho bad weather etc,) also some programmes fail to record, and a lot of the time I get a sign saying ''mini tv signal not being received'', some channels mainly sky's own actually say no Satellite signal being received when in fact if i channel surf there are satellite pictures actually getting thru from sky.
