Does the proactiv refining mask work?

I recently bought the proactiv system and was not impressed by the results. It did not clear my skin as I had hoped, and I do not intend on purchasing it again. However, I have seen some improvement from using the refining mask, and I was just wondering if it has worked for you. If so, how do you use it? The bottle says to leave it on for 10 mins and then wash it off, but the commercial says to use it for spot treatment overnight. Also, I was reading reviews and some people talked about how they would leave the mask on overnight. Which way works best? Thanks.
